Strengthening Pharmaceutical Research, Drug Testing and Healthcare Standards in Bihar- The establishment of the state-of-the-art Drug Testing Laboratory and Alcohol and Drug Testing Facility (ADF) in Patna was reviewed. The initiative aims to strengthen drug quality assurance, pharmaceutical research, innovation, and skill development in Bihar. The expertise and technical support of NIPER Hajipur will further enhance training, research, and capacity-building activities in these areas. The compliance of nursing colleges with prescribed standards will also be assessed through physical inspections. Hon’ble Health Minister Shri Nishant Kumar has constituted a committee and directed it to conduct on-site inspections of nursing colleges to verify compliance with the required norms and standards.
